Announcing the Graduation of BRANDON JOSEPH DIXON BRANDON JOSEPH DIXON Loma Linda School of Medicine On May 28, 2017 during the 111th ceremony at Loma Linda University in California, Brandon Joseph Dixon graduated from Loma Linda School of Medicine with a PhD in Physiology. Brandon was also the recipient of the 2017 President’s Award. This award is the highest award a student can receive at Loma Linda University. It signifies outstanding academic achievement, scholarship and exemplary leadership. He focused on therapies to help infants recover from an intrauterine stroke. Results of the study he participated in showed that interferon beta treatment could help reduce damage caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. For the summer, Brandon was awarded a research grant from the South Carolina Space Grant Consortium funded by NASA. His research will consist of studying MRI brain scans of astronauts with the Radiology Department at MUSC. In the fall, Brandon will continue his medical education as a physician scientist at Medical University South Carolina, thus fulfilling his lifetime dream of earning a MD and PhD degree. Brandon is the son of Roy and Ada Dixon of Melbourne, FL. He graduated from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in 2008. He is extremely grateful to his parents, and his wife Dr. Nichelle Warren Dixon, who have provided love, support and encouragement throughout his personal and academic journey. We congratulate Dr. Brandon Dixon on all of his achievements, and look forward to many more in the future.

SUMMER BUCKINGHAM CLASS OF 2017 SUMMER BUCKINGHAM University of Central Florida College of Medicine Richard and Rosemerry Buckingham are pleased to announce the graduation of their granddaughter, Summer, from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine. Summer will soon begin her Pediatrics residency in the Tampa / St. Petersburg area.

HEIDI NICOLE MOBLEY Announcing the Graduation of HEIDI NICOLE MOBLEY Nova Southeastern University Heidi Nicole Mobley received her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Heidi is the daughter of John and Karen Mobley of Saint Cloud, Florida, and the graddaughter of Ray and Ruthann Kuhlman and Jean Mobley of Titusville, Florida.

Caitlin E. Bigelow Caitlin E. Bigelow Florida Institute of Technology Graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Caitlin is the daughter of Thomas G. and Norma Bigelow of Titusville, Florida.

DANIELLE L. SOLOMON, DO Danielle L. Solomon, DO, received a doctor of osteo-pathic medicine (DO) degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 7, in Kansas City, Mo. Dr. Solomon is the daughter of Chuck and Karen Solomon, graduated from Sat-ellite High School and earned an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Dr. Solomon will complete post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in Farm-ington, CT. Happy Father’s Day, Dad!

Peter Nicholas Whitehurst - Dothan High School Son of Dr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Whitehurst of Dothan, Alabama and Grandson of Kenneth & Joan Weaver of Cocoa Beach. Peter graduated Valedictorian from Dothan High School where he was President of the National Honor Society and was a member of the school Tennis team. He was the top tennis player for four consecutive years and won first place in the Alabama State championship in singles and doubles. Peter also held a tennis clinic for autistic children for several years. Peter was awarded the Bryant-Jordan Student Athlete Scholarship and plans to attend the University of Alabama majoring in pre-med studies. ROLL TIDE!

Jessica Ann Hathaway, ESQ Florida State University Mr. & Mrs Roger L. Hathaway of Merritt Island, Florida are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Jessica Ann Hathaway from Florida State University’s College of Law, receiving her Juries Doctorate, and successfully completing the Florida State Bar Exam! Jessica completed her High School education at Titusville High, then moved on to receive her Bachelor of Arts, from the University of Florida, and continued her education at Florida International University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution and Analysis. She then started her own Company, Global Mediation LLC, becoming the President and CEO. Jessica is also enrolled in an MBA program at Yale University. Because of Jessica’s maintained outstanding academic rating (Honor Roll and Dean’s List) and her continuously displayed professional ethics while attending Florida State College of Law, she was requested to become a member of one of the oldest and most prestigious Legal Society’s in North America. “PHI DELTA PHI” is the North American International Legal Honor Society which was founded in 1869. Jessica has accepted a position with a Non-Profit Federal Organization and will reside in the Boca Raton area. Hearty kudos to Jessica for her fierce and successful determination to accomplish her goals.

PATRICK WHITEHURST Announcing the Graduation of PATRICK WHITEHURST Dothan High School Patrick graduated with Honors on May 21, 2015 from Dothan High School, Dothan, Alabama. He will attend the University of South Alabama and major in Music Education. Patrick received the prestigious John Philip Sousa Award for his musical accomplishments. He was also a member of the Dothan High Tennis Team. Patrick is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Whitehurst and the grandson of Ken and Joan Weaver of Cocoa Beach, FL. Congratulations, Patrick!

Angel Hepburn Astronaut High School Kerwin and Patty Hepburn are proud to announce that their daughter, Angel Hepburn, graduated from Astronaut High School on May 23, 2015. Angel was dual enrolled at Eastern Florida State College. Her AA degree was in General Studies and her AS degree was in Surgical Technology. Jason grad uated West Shore Sr. Jr. High as Valedictorian in June 2006, from there went to the University of Florida in the Honors Program studying Pre-Med from 2006 2010 after graduat ing there in 2010, he than received a full Scholarship from the U.S Air Force For Nova Medical School in Orlando Fl. as a Physician Assistance from May 2011August 2013, he than com pleted and passed his na tional boards in Sept 2013. In Oct. 2013 Jason went to Officer Candidate Training in Montgomery Alabama, he graduated in Nov. 2013 as the Distinguish Graduate for his Flight. He is current ly practicing as a Physician Assistance as a 1St LT. in the U.S. Air Force stationed in at Langley AFB in Vir ginia. Jason plans to com plete his three years of service and return to med ical school to complete his medical doctorate.
